This is called a disaster!! This water main has so many problems that I don’t know where to begin.

1) The water meter is very old, outdated, and probably gives inaccurate readings.

2) There is no electrical ground cable on the main! The water shut-off valve is ancient and corroded.

3) The main water pipe is lead and must be replaced (wiped joint noted by valve)!

4) The water lines need to be properly secured to the wall. The wood board is not an acceptable support.

 1) Using adapters when there is a lack of electrical outlets is a safety hazard. Too many appliances plugged into an outlet can create a fire or shock. The NEC recommends one outlet for every six feet of horizontal wall space. This will help prevent the use of unsafe extension cord wiring and plug adapters.

2) To make matters even worse, this gas wall heater has a flexible supply line which is unsafe.
