Newspaper Full Ad - Earn 30-50% on Real Estate
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello,
I saw a full page ad on Los Angeles Times (Section A) titled in bold,
How to Find Real Estate for 30% to 50% Below Market Value..
Discover the Huge Source of Profits Most Real Estate Investors Overlook
The 2 hour workshop ends tomorrow and I like to check it out. The admission is free but the time and gas it takes to get me there is not.
Would I benefit from such workshop? I've seen this type of ad on LA Times before but it didn't spark an interest back then, and now it does.
Any experience on this sort of free Real Estate workshops? Thank you. |

Sounds like bs. There aren't any magic ways to buy real estate at half off.

it will be a pre-fore or "subject to" workshop. you can buy cheap books to learn that process.

This is a common pull strategy. They will tell you just enough to get you excited but not enough to actually do it. Why is it free? Well they plan to sell you on a 2 or 3 day weekend "academy" or "university" course and you can't do it without their analysis software, their mentoring, or their books. And at the end of the weekend course, when you're tired and suffering from overload they will present a handful of properties that their finders / birddoggers have found just for the people on the course - and they'll auction them. The owners can then just sit back and watch the $$$ pour in. Ofcourse no one will do their due dilligence, they don't want to be seen as losers who don't know a deal when they see one.
My advice? Save the gas, go to the library, search online for info and stay the *beep* away from that type of seminar.
There is no such thing as a free lunch!
