Russ Whitney asks the federal court to delay his hearing and deposition AGAIN

Once again, the day when Russ Whitney has to testify under oath is approaching—June 15, 2005. And once again, as he did in May, he is asking the federal court in Fort Myers to postpone the day of reckoning. And oh, by the way, he also wants to delay giving a deposition to me and participating with me in a mediation that the court ordered him to attend.
Actually, he filed an “emergency” motion to not have the hearing on June 15th. He previously filed an “emergency” motion to not have it on May 13th either. This is all very ironic when you consider that the purpose of the hearing is to hear evidence pertaining to Russ’s “emergency” motion for a preliminary injunction. Whitney’s biggest current “emergency” seems to be that the court believed him last time he said he had an “emergency.”
He gives new meaning to the phrase, “Hurry up and wait.”
I filed an opposition to this latest postponement.
There’s another deadline looming. On June 13th, Whitney and his corporation have to answer, under oath, the 50 interrogatories I sent them months ago. What do you suppose the chances are he’ll file a motion to postpone those, too?
Why are we still doing this? Whitney apparently never had any intention of following through on this litigation. He expected that I would cave in before it got to this point. That was Plan A. He has no Plan B. Either that or Plan B is to incessantly file delays until the end of time. I doubt the judges will be so patient.

My mistake was not searching the Internet to find out more about Russ Whitney and his company's HORRIBLE reputation for fraud, deception and illegal activities. Had I searched online I would have found out about THOUSANDS of customers being cheated, HUNDREDS of investigations by the Attorney General into the fraud of Russ Whitney and his company's, and that Russ Whitney himself is a CONVICTED VIOLENT FELON and spent years in PRISON. I saved the cached pages from the major search engines of the John Reed lawsuit with Russell Whitney and the TRUTH and FACTS that Reed discovered during his investigation of Whitney. I am posting this information on real estate discussion boards so other people do NOT get cheated and ripped off like I did.
