What's the best way to clean paint brushes after use? Is there a solution that they can soak in to help remove the caked up paint? Even after rinsing them thoroughly there is still paint on the bristles. Thanks!

If the brush has hardened paint in it there are products usually referred to as paint brush cleaner versus a named solvent such as mineral spirits. These products are specifically for hardened brushes. There is also a spiked tool known as a paint brush comb for the purpose of raking out the paint residue.I'm sure some of the painters that frequent this board have tricks as well. One often mentioned concerning brushes during use is to put them in the refrigerator.

Depends on what and ho much you are painting , most of the time I toss the brushesor rollers out they are cheap enough so hy waste time to clean them If I'l be using the same color again for second coat I clean them up a bit .
