I'd like some recommendations on books for writing purchase/listing agreements. If you have some course recommendations that would also be appreciated.

Melodye,

Are you a Realtor? If yes, then your broker's office probably has contracts that they use as a standard template and adjust them according to each seller's/buyer's requirements or needs. If you're not a Realtor, then you could probably ask a local real estate office if you could get a sample from them. Also, you need to DEFINITELY have an attorney in your area review any contracts or listing agreements you use. All local areas will have special factors to add/remove from any standard contract templates/forms. There's no one-fits-all form that could be used.

I'm not aware of any books in particular that focus on real estate contracts and listing agreements. There are probably a number of books that discuss real estate and mention some contracts and forms but I don't think any of them focus only on this topic.

I have an affiliate product on my site at http://www.nemmar.com/affiliate-products/cashflow-success-pack.shtml . This is a collection of 12 CDs that cover many aspects of real estate investing including many standard contracts and legal agreement templates. So you might want to take at look at that page to see if it's for you if you can't find something for free in your local area.

Yes, I am a Realtor in GA. Although the office has numerous training material on listing, etc. my particular interest was gaining more knowledge of the contract writing portion including samples of special stip writing. I'll check your site and appreciate the feedback.
