Misty Farris, a member of Baron & Budds appellate section, has defended millions of dollars in verdicts on appeal and has represented victims of mesothelioma, asbestos, benzene, radiation, and other toxic substances in more than a dozen state and federal courts. She has lectured and published on topics including asbestos, bankruptcy, premises liability, and mass torts. A member of Trial Lawyers for Public Justice, she represented the organization as amicus curiae before the U.S. Supreme Court. Misty is also a member of the Amicus Curiae Committee of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. She previously practiced civil rights law with two public interest firms.
