Permeable pavements and other supplementary products are used to construct drives and walkways. Materials used include porous asphalt and concrete, grid systems, block pavers and cement substitutes.   American Concrete Pavement Association represents concrete pavement contractors, cement companies, equipment and material manufacturers and suppliers, with a special focus on portland cement concrete pavements.
• National Concrete Masonry Association (NCMA)
  Provides information about concrete block, concrete paving units, segmental concrete retaining walls and more.
• American Concrete Institute (ACI)
  American Concrete Institute is a technical and educational society dedicated to improving the design, construction, maintenance and repair of concrete structures.
• Portland Cement Association
  The Portland Cement Association promotes cement and concrete for paving, residential, engineered structures, and public works.
• American Coal Ash Association
  The American Coal Ash Association (ACAA) promotes the beneficial use of coal combustion products (CCPs). CCPs are produced by the burning of coal in a boiler and take the form of fly ash, bottom ash, boiler slag, flue gas desulfurization materials, and other similar materials. CCPs have a myriad of uses that allow the substitution of CCPs for natural or manufactured materials in many processes and applications.
