| VALLEY FORGE, PA -- CertainTeed’s Insulation Group has introduced EZR’ Fiber Glass Insulation. With a tabless kraft vapor retarder on one side and a non-woven fabric facing on the other, the insulation is easier to cut, install and use than traditional kraft-faced products. In addition, EZR friction-fits into a wall cavity so no stapling is required. "What’s great about EZR is that it can be installed as a roll or a batt," explains Jim Ash, Marketing Manager, with CertainTeed’s Insulation Group. "And with a non-woven facing, EZR‘ is more comfortable to handle as dust fly and itch are reduced." The product comes in a 31’ long by 15-1/4" wide roll in an R-value of R-13. They are a quarter of an inch wider than standard products and are perforated every 93" so they can easily be separated to install as a batt. CertainTeed’s EZR‘ Fiber Glass Insulation is Greenguard Indoor Air Quality Certified, as are all CertainTeed Fiber Glass Insulation products. Thus, they have been certified for superior indoor air quality (IAQ) performance by the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute. The GREENGUARD Certification designates low emitting products.
