Endura’s JambDam Frame Adaptor Protects Against Water

Endura Products, Inc. has introduced the JambDam™ frame adapter to provide a protective barrier against water damage and ease the jamb conversion between sill profiles.
The JambDam frame adapter raises the jamb stop and rabbet 1/4 inch off of the ground, acting as a moisture barrier, preventing water from wicking up the jamb and avoiding discoloration, rotting and the inevitable callbacks such damage causes.
The PVC JambDam also allows easy conversion from low- to high-profile jambs. Attaching the JambDam to the bottom of a low-profile frame raises the frame to accommodate high dam sills. This simple procedure eliminates the need to purchase new jambs.
The frame adapter is available in inswing and outswing versions. For outswing applications, the need to notch the sill is removed, maintaining a more reliable moisture barrier at the threshold.
