Local Realtors report that despite some damage from this season's hurricanes, Fort Myers, Florida was rain-soaked but not destroyed and real estate is back on its steep upward climb. Says Currier, "North Fort Myers was not greatly affected by the recent hurricanes and property values continue to climb at record levels. Because property values are still lower than those just to the north in Sarasota and just to the south in Naples, the demand for available real estate has be steadily increasing in value. Investors, developers and people looking for value have found this area to be a prime relocation destination."
