Homes Of Our Own Overview A K-3 Environmental Education Program The Homes of Our Own program is a fun way to teach children in grades kindergarten through third grade about the home building process and tree preservation. And, now you can color online with the Homes of Our Own Online Coloring Book, created by the NAHB Women's Council as a way to reach more children, teachers and caregivers with this environmental education program. The online coloring book features eight pages that correspond with the printed coloring book; a bonus blank page children can use to draw and color their own dream homes; printing and emailing capabilities; and an opportunity to submit their masterpieces for an online Junior Home Builder Certificate. Program support materials include: Homes of Our Own is used by home builder associations, members and Women's Councils as part of an overall community and education outreach program at schools, public libraries, home shows, special events, and more.
