Knoxville's Mountain Views, Sports Attract Homebuyers
by Blanche Evans

Offering plenty of sports and other things to do, along with beautiful views, Knoxville, Tennessee is growing rapidly, say local Realtors.

"Knoxville is located in East Tennessee with beautiful mountain views, and do not forget the lakes," says Realtor Dianne Royer. "And of course the University of Tennessee. Knoxville is a fast-growing community with lots to offer. Several nice shopping areas are at your finger tips. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are only minutes away. Come visit the area."

"We're booming!," say Realtors Patricia and Allen Shepherd. "This area is growing with new shopping centers, hospitals and roads. There are many places to dine, shop or go to a movie.

The Shepherds add, "West Knoxville is growing and yet seems to be keeping up with the demands of the people. There is plenty to do and see in the Knoxville area. There is more than I can mention from dining, art, shows, shopping and I should also mention that this is Orange Country so there is much to do with the Tennessee Vols and that includes basketball, football, baseball and golf. There is a variety of homes and prices for different investments for you."

"Knoxville is a fabulous place to live , to work, to get an education, to participate in great college sports, and to enjoy your free time," says Realtor Nancy Gaines. "Knoxville is the home of the University of Tennessee, the Tennessee Volunteers-Big Orange Football."

About the area, she adds, "I-40 runs east and west and I-75 north and south. There's plenty of work for professionals and nonprofessionals with major hospitals, nursing facilities, and mental institutions available. Shopping malls and strip malls for your convenience. Great and varied restaurants, as well as the fast food array. New construction of homes and condos steadily going on. This is a sports town with water front and water activities."
