Lakewood, California Is Growing In Popularity, Say Realtors
by Blanche Evans

Many folks might know neighboring community Long Beach better by name, but local Realtors say that Lakewood, California offers great advantages to buyers.

"Home values in Lakewood and surrounding cities continue to rise due to strong buyer demands and low interest rates," says Realtor Michael Del Rosario.

Explains Realtor James Bridges, "Lakewood has been growing and growing in popularity. It is a suburb that is set back from the freeway while still remaining central to many great amenities. The local golf courses make it popular to many, and the school system has been a strong system that has drawn many families into the area. The neighborhoods are characterized by beautiful tree-lined streets which make it a comfortable and appealing place for many! Limited inventory has put the homes in high demand so seller's are getting top dollar for their properties."

"Buyers are still feeling more confident with more disposable income to invest in housing," says Realtor Vic Bradley, "which is helping to stabilize the economy during it's economic transition. Sellers are encouraged by the increasing prices and eager to list."
