The MADE Homes - Marketable, Affordable, Durable, Entry-Level Homes The Research Center, in collaboration with HUD's PATH (Partnership for Advancing Technology in Housing) initiative is constructing four Marketable, Affordable, Durable, Entry-level (MADE) single-family detached homes in the NAHB National Research Home Park. The four homes will highlight technologies and builder practices that may be utilized to deliver an affordable home that will appeal to a broad range of consumers. This MADE manual will provide builders with the tools necessary to market affordable housing to the entry-level buyer, successful techniques for building affordable durable housing, and methods to define home buyers' expectations and fulfill their needs both before and after the sale.
