NEW TREATED WOOD REQUIRES SPECIALLY TREATED CONNECTORS

The new generation of treated wood products use chemicals which may cause standard connectors to corrode prematurely. USP Connectors, one of the leaders in structural connectors, has posted an informative data sheet on its website that will educate you on the special challenges posed by the new wood treatments.
USP has also introduced a new generation of connectors which are triple treated with Zinc to prevent corrosion.
