Re-Built Chinese Home Now A Museum Showcase in Craftmanship

08/25/2004
A co-worker recently directed me to the website of the Peabody Essex Museum, located north of Boston. The museum has re-erected a 200+ year old house from China, and in the process learned the spectacular craftsmanship that was at work.

The best part is their website has a stunning Flash presentation that disects, flies through, and describes in compelling detail what when into making this house---and the people who lived there.

It also provides a quick lesson in the “Feng Shui” concept as well!

Save this link for a lazy Saturday........
