Realty Times TV Expands Length Of Show, Upgrades Format - 6/17/2005 - Real Estate Products Services

Realty Times TV Expands Length Of Show, Upgrades Format
by Blanche Evans

The Realty Times television show is taking over satellite TV!

The show is evolving into the satellite networks' leading real estate news and homes show, says CEO Jody Lane. Lane is announcing that the homes show has been so successful it is expanding from one hour to two, and will debut its new time slot with a new look, a new anchor, and new content.

"We knew we had a home run with this show," says Lane, "and by adding more news, advice and homes, we are providing more enjoyment to our fan base."

To launch the new format, Realty Times turned to a new production company. Creative Edge, Inc., formed in October 1999, is a leader in multimedia marketing for the real estate industry and an innovator in television and online video marketing products, including narrated virtual tours and aerial mapping services. Before its association with Realty Times, Creative Edge produced 30-minute broadcast television shows, customized to Top 500 brokers in several markets spanning from Reno, Nevada, to York, Pennsylvania. In addition to real estate TV shows, it also specializes in creative video production such as: company image videos, training videos, relocation DVD's and television commercial campaigns.

"Creative Edge is taking on new capabilities, too," says Lane, "so this is the right partnership at the right time."

Bringing a new look and news-based attitude to the show will be multi-award winning television and radio personality Erik Sean. Erik has a wide array of experience in program hosting, marketing and sales. He's been honored ten times with awards by the Missouri and Illinois Broadcaster's Associations. A graduate of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, Illinois, which has a nationally renowned and respected Radio and Television program, Erik is also heavily involved in charitable organizations such as St. Jude's Children's Hospital and the American Red Cross.

"Erik has the delivery we wanted to take our program to the next level," says Lane. "We are the only company to focus on local and national market conditions in real estate, and Erik understands how important it is to our viewers to know what's happening nation-wide."

In addition, Realty Times' editor Blanche Evans will be writing the weekly telescript for the show, which will emphasize more news and advice, and the Realty Times Outlook.

"Realty Times TV will be the only real estate show on television that informs consumers about their local and national markets so they have perspective when buying and selling real estate," says Evans. "Realty Times is real estate news, and that is what our viewers are going to get online and on television."

The Realty Times show can be seen on satellite television on the Dish Network and DirecTV.

The new times and format will commence on Saturday, June 25, 2005 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Eastern time on Channel 223 on the Dish Network and on Sunday, June 26, 2005 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Eastern time on Channel 227.
