Simpson® Adds New Door Designs to Its Craftsman Collection

03/31/2004
Simpson Door Company has expanded its popular Craftsman Collection of entry doors to include new architecturally inspired glass options. Based on Frank Lloyd Wright's signature design style, the Craftsman Collection now features thirty-six exterior door designs with matching transoms and sidelights. Each door comes standard in Douglas Fir, Western Hemlock and American Red Oak and can be constructed in virtually any wood species at Simpson's Custom Door Facility.

The new glass options feature geometric patterns of clear beveled, clear textured and cobalt art glass, set apart by black caming. The new designs complement existing Simpson Craftsman doors, giving builders and homeowners a variety of choices to match home designs, décor and hardware.

The collection includes one, two and three-panel doors, each with one, two and three-lite glass arrangements. A selection of matching transoms and sidelights are offered for each door. Simpson Craftsman doors are 1-3/4" thick and come standard with insulated glass. The doors can be specified in heights of 6'8", 7'0", and 8'0" and in a succession of widths from 3'0" to 3'6".
