A sibling of Russ Whitney' hit-and-run victim contacts John T. Reed On 6/20/03, I received an email from a sibling of the guy Russ Whitney left unconscious and bleeding on the side of the road at 2:15 AM in Glenville NY on November 15, 1980. The sibling is not a Whitney fan. The sibling had come across my Web site. I said I would like to add the bother' real name and details of his life since his disastrous meeting with Whitney in 1980 to my Web site discussion of the crash. For example, I have before and after photos of the victim that I got from the police. But I cannot post such material unless I get his permission or that of his guardian, if any. I suspect some of my readers might like to help the Whitney' hit-and-run victim if he is deserving of charity at this time. Plus, the more the world knows about that victim, the more a person of conscience who caused such harm would feel compelled to right the wrong. Whether Russ Whitney is a man of conscience with regard to setting things right with his hit-and-run victim remains to be seen. At best, any such restitution by the man who claims to be a multimillionaire would fall into the better-late-than-never category. To be continued, I hope. John T. Reed Copyright 2003 by John T.
